Stats tell part of a story but for example if you compare Bachelor to Batty they are more or less the same one gets MOM other he didn't do much. It was same last year regarding Knowels and Batty's stats wise.
Take Walmsley who has been easily the best prop maybe the most influential player out of the stats and most weeks it becomes more level.
I imagine Micky Mac's stats don't measure up well but the sum of what he brings are bigger than the parts, similar with Knowels.

We have a League 1 squad and a L1 manager and assistant: end of debate, I’m afraid. Most have only experienced losing in L1, most are on 2 year contracts. Gildart was one of the lightest backs in the league. Around the 85kg mark. There was talk that he’d need to get to more like 88-90kg Which I think he’s done now. That’ll help because there’s so big boys in that league

Man U play Brighton Tues. Leeds no midweek game. Big advantage for Leeds yet again.

Not blaming Leeds but it really is remarkable how often it happens.
