I think we’re in the much better position. They will have complete control over club and stadium etc
Another American outfit look set to buy Everton
???? My thinking had been along the same lines....the Blues Hertz Arena.
They could use a bastardised version of Roy Orbison's Love Hurts on their advertising jingle for it too!
Not the nicest on the pitch but good luck to him with this, what a horrible illness.

Thanks. Actually I think I watched that when it was on.
It reminds me of a surprising moment I heard from Bob Willis during a lunch break in the cricket when the Mohammed Amir et al match fixing broke.
He basically said what can we say and compare as a bunch of white English middle class ex pro cricketers, about what it's like coming from a poor village in Pakistan. The money we are talking about potentially pays for that village to eat for months or words to that extent and more. Читать дальше...
No, since I've been going 79ish, we have only averaged above 25 on the occasions we were in the prem & apart from the 1st season under Bruce tickets were always easy to come by.
Take the carling cup final, tickets all sold. On the day if you turned up without one there were people selling them as people couldn't make it or people had just purchased extra tickets.
I would bet a very large sum that if we played the Villa & I didn't get a ticket either at home or away if I just... Читать дальше...

Maybe makes you wonder if Real is worth it if you're Jude.
That style with the best players in the league is more successful than with the players at Swansea.
More problems in Spain . . .

Time to sort this shit out for good.
Identify the perpetrators & stop the game until they are kicked out - then ban them for life.
It's 2023 FFS.

I was there. Struggling to remember the support act. Was it big country?
There is usually a pretty good reason why players in their early to mid 20s are released. Either they already have an offer elsewhere and have refused to sign a deal, so unless that someone is us it is doubtful they are truly available. If they have just been let go then either they simply are not good enough, they have injury issues or there is an issue with temperament or attitude.
We took risks on free like McEachran, Halilovic and Woods in recent seasons who each show examples of the folly of free transfers. Читать дальше...

90s No skips great tune. I wonder if the bloke who sets the song has been celebrating?
Does this mean Swansea go back in for Eustace or have they realised he doesn’t actually fit the ‘Swansea Way?’ And is more of a defensive head coach.

Did you consider us winning the League Cup to be a major trophy?
If so, you can't really belittle any team that wins the Conference League.
How sick are The Vile and Potter??
Grass is always greener but what an achievement!
Leeds have won 7 games all season, none in the last 5, and have got the worst defence in the league. People going on about how spurs are rubbish need to have a think about who they’re playing. Also Brighton are a very good side. Relax ????
This one's doing the rounds amongst the pundits. What do we reckon?
11 titles out of 14 is highly impressive. But Barcelona were dominant before he took over and blessed with talent; the bare minimum is league wins with Bayern Munich and he failed to win the CL; Man City were off what they are now but falling over themselves with money.
There's no doubt he crafts incredibly dominant and tactically masterful football teams. But Fergie, for instance, took over a Man Utd side... Читать дальше...

Absolutely.
But I think to be viewed as one of the absolute best he's got to do it with a 'smaller' team, with what are perceived to be lesser players I think.
Mourinho definitely has I think. (you say mourinho has spent more - is there figures for that?)
