As mentioned, it’s a game of fine margins. A fraction earlier he’d have made perfect contact and raised the crowd but sadly got it wrong. The question would be why do that to a kicker when the modern game is very strong on anything late or high?
Bit of a head rush moment but not malicious. I’m concerned that we’re paying him marquee wages and his performances aren’t great

You would have to think the Marsters deal has been done for some time so it's a very interesting time to announce it, i.e - the day after our season has ended. No way Wardle is staying now. Keep your eyes peeled for a Wardle announcement in the coming days by Huddersfield. It's the classic Wigan ploy, announce a signing to negate an imminent departure.

Great season this year. Not how we wanted it to end but got beat by the better team. I am looking forward to what next year has in store, a lot more than I was the start of this season. Hopefully in the next few weeks we get word of who’s leaving and who’s coming in. Hopefully another pre season with smith and Cust will bring their partnership on. Saints copped their fare share this year as well its the inconsistency that is ridiculous. To be honest where there is a bit of leeway I am all for erring on the side of benefit of the doubt and nobody missing a grand final. If Knowles gets off though I will be astounded!

I really hope they scrap the six again rule. Team pinned on their own line, give one away to keep them there when it should be a 20-30m kick to clear the lines.

A very suitable replacement for leutele. A two year deal for an international just turned 26. An attacking centre- who can play either left or right and who can kick goals something that that we were missing this year.
