Not sure why, but I was expecting 30 minutes to an hour of comprehensive explanations on some key issues. Especially with Carney being brought in to chair it.

Reading some of the press in recent days, it seems to me that spending the full cap can be a handicap … and interview with Leeds suggested that they are keen to keep Hardaker but are already at full cap next season and need to make space to accommodate him… likewise at Warrington whose offloading of Bullock and Holmes is being driven by needing to free up cap space to sign a new half back…
Does having more money just mean you are likely to be more frivolous??

I reckon there will be a few Hull fans eating Humble pie in regards to McIntosh next season. We’ve seen from Cator and Griffin how difficult it is to come back from an Achilles rupture.
I reckon with a full preseason and a consistent centre inside of him he’ll be a top performer.

Prior was at fault for Sts' first try in not moving across fast enough to cover Lomax. That was in the first few minutes, and one of his strengths was his mobility. If he's lost that he'll be frankly very little use, as he's always been a bit lightweight for a 'middle'.

Hard to say to be fair. As much as there are rumours we’ve signed him, we might not have done. The King deal came out the blue and I can’t help wonder if that was Wire making us an offer to step aside on Wardle. Total guesswork but we’ll see. His season is still ongoing as things stand, so maybe they’re just being respectful of that.
