Congratulations Saints - fantastic performance. Wouldn't have been any different if we'd beaten Leeds - their intensity across the 80 minutes is unmatched just now.

Given the reasons he’s moving from Salford, I for one wouldn’t be surprised if Danny Orr is part of the first team set up next season. Straight swap for Long.

I'll be honest, I don't mind the same teams winning it as much, I've got a strange desire for us to be the "other team" that win it. As it stands, it's same old. I'd be slightly gutted if Cas or Salford actually did it before us.

Why don’t we go somewhere nice and warm for pre-season?
We always do the cheap army camp thing.

Quarter empty stadium for the grand final
mickey easy saints win, that I’ve predicted for what seems like a billion years because the competition is so predictable.
Of course saints will be happy, but clearly people are tuning out. Look at the empty seats.
SL has never been so bad.

The answer for us is to produce quality youngsters and give them an environment and pathway to the first team and beyond
I said all last year, Partington offer loads of effort, aggressions and a good engine, but he has zero go forward. He's isn't a big loss at all.

You did have to pay to get in the South Stand via turnstiles at the back but there was a special free entry via the toilet block if you had thick skin on the palms of your hand.

I note that our oracle on all things Wakefield Vastman said this was wrong. I wait his justification for this one word reply because as per usual nothing to back his statement only his belief in his own superiority and eagerness to defend the club’s administration.

So the grand final is once again Leeds v Saints, if the salary cap was supposed to even the playing field it hasn’t worked.
Clearly the only defining measure that keeps Super League continuing to get the same results is the strength of the academies.
The strongest academies always produce the grand finalists, capping spending on players has no affect.
Is it time for a new look at how the best youngsters are scooped up by the biggest teams?

Vasty, I was just thinking about those fans that used to stand on the East Terrace in front of the old East Stand. On a good day there would be a few hundred fans standing there. That facility for standing is no longer available, where do you think those fans will go? Do they pay extra to sit in the new stand, do they go onto the North Terrace if there is enough room subject to capacity limit. Believe me, some match days I do hope MC & JM are scratching their heads wondering where to put everyone. Читать дальше...

Trailfinders suited us for our situation at the time. I think that after a season in Super League there
